Article 1 Purpose
This Terms of Service is intended to define the conditions and operations of the service provided by Autonomous A2Z Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").
Article 2 Definitions
The main terms used in this agreement are defined as follows:
1. Member: A user who agrees to the site's terms, provides personal information, registers as a member, enters into a use contract with the site, and uses the site.
2. Use Contract: A contract concluded between the site and the member regarding the use of the site.
3. Member ID (hereinafter "ID"): A unique combination of letters and numbers assigned to each member for identification and service use.
4. Password: A combination of letters and numbers selected by the member to confirm the member's identity and protect the member's rights.
5. Operator: The person who establishes and operates the site.
6. Termination: The act of canceling the use contract by the member.
Article 3 Guidelines Outside the Terms
The operator may separately announce and provide guidance on operational policies if necessary. If these terms and operational policies overlap, the operational policies shall take precedence.
Article 4 Conclusion of Use Contract
1. The use contract is established with the operator's approval of the membership application and the applicant's agreement to these terms.
2. Those who wish to use the service by registering as members must read these terms during the registration process and indicate their agreement by selecting "I agree" below.
Article 5 Application for Service Use
1. Users who wish to use the site by registering as members must provide the necessary information (user ID, password, nickname, etc.) requested by the site.
2. Members who register with false information or use another person's information cannot claim any rights related to site use and may be punished according to relevant laws.
Article 6 Privacy Policy
The site and the operator do not possess the password provided at the time of member registration. Matters related to this are governed by the site's privacy policy.
The operator endeavors to protect the personal information of members, including registration information, in accordance with relevant laws.
Matters concerning the protection of members' personal information are governed by relevant laws and the site's privacy policy.
However, the operator is not responsible for any information exposure due to the member's negligence.
If a member posts or distributes illegal posts that harm public morals or violate national security, the operator may view the member's data and submit the relevant data to the concerned authorities upon request.
Article 7 Operator's Obligations
1. The operator must handle legitimate opinions or complaints raised by members as quickly as possible. If prompt handling is difficult due to unavoidable circumstances, the operator shall notify the member via notice, email, etc., and do their best.
2. For continuous and stable site provision, the operator must promptly repair or restore the facilities in case of failure or loss, unless there are unavoidable reasons such as natural disasters or other compelling reasons for the site or operator.
Article 8 Member's Obligations
1. Members must comply with the matters stipulated in these terms, site policies, notices, and relevant laws, and must not engage in any acts that interfere with the site's operations or harm the site's reputation.
2. Members cannot transfer, gift, or provide as collateral their service usage rights or any status under the use contract to others without the site's explicit consent.
3. Users must take considerable care in managing their IDs and passwords and must not allow third parties to use their IDs without the operator's consent.
4. Members must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of the operator, the site, or third parties.
Article 9 Service Use Time
1. The principle is that service use is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there are special business or technical obstacles. However, the site may temporarily suspend services on days or times designated by the site for regular system inspections, expansions, or replacements, and will notify members in advance on the site’s homepage.
2. The site may temporarily or permanently suspend services without prior notice in the following cases:
- In case of urgent system inspection, expansion, replacement, or malfunction
- In case of force majeure such as national emergency, power outage, natural disaster, etc.
- If the telecommunications service is suspended by the telecommunications service provider prescribed by the Telecommunications Business Act
- In case normal service use is hindered due to service usage overload
3. In case of service interruption under the preceding paragraph, the site will notify members in advance through notices. If it is impossible to give prior notice due to reasons beyond the site’s control, a post-notification will be given.
Article 10 Termination of Service Use
1. If a member wishes to terminate the use contract with the site, the member must apply for termination online. The termination of the use contract with the site must be done separately from the termination of site use.
2. Upon termination application, the site's related programs will be automatically deleted from the member management screen, and the operator can no longer view the information of the termination applicant.
Article 11 Service Use Restrictions
Members must not engage in any of the following acts. If a member engages in such acts, the site may restrict the member's use of the service, take legal action, or terminate the use contract or suspend the service for a set period.
1. Registering false information during membership registration or information changes
2. Interfering with another's use of the site or stealing information
3. Impersonating site administrators, employees, or related parties
4. Infringing on the personal rights or intellectual property rights of the site, other members, or third parties, or interfering with their work
5. Illegally using another member's ID
6. Collecting, storing, or disclosing another member's personal information without their consent
7. Engaging in acts that are objectively deemed to be related to criminal activity
8. Engaging in other acts that violate relevant laws
Article 12 Management of Posts
1. The responsibility for managing and operating posts and materials on the site lies with the operator. The operator must always monitor for inappropriate posts and materials and delete them if found or reported, and warn the member who posted them.
Members are responsible for the posts they upload and must not post content that violates these terms.
2. If a public institution such as the Information and Communication Ethics Committee requests rectification, the operator may delete or move posts without the member's consent.
3. The criteria for determining inappropriate posts are as follows:
- Content that severely insults or damages the reputation of another member or a third party
- Content that spreads or links to information that violates public order and morals
- Content that promotes illegal copying or hacking
- Commercial advertisements for profit
- Content objectively deemed to be related to crime
- Content that infringes on the copyrights or other rights of other users or third parties
- Content deemed to violate relevant laws
4. If a third party requests the suspension of a post due to defamation, intellectual property rights infringement, etc., the site and operator may temporarily suspend the post (transmission suspension) without prior notice and follow the relevant institution's decision if there is a lawsuit, agreement, or other decision between the requester and the post registrant.
Article 13 Storage of Posts
If the site operator must suspend the site due to unavoidable circumstances \, the operator will notify members in advance and make every effort to facilitate the transfer of posts.
Article 14 Copyright of Posts
1. The copyright of posts published by members on the site belongs to the respective member. The site cannot use the posts commercially without the member's consent. However, this restriction does not apply to non-commercial purposes, and the site has the right to publish within the service.
2. Members cannot use the information obtained through the service for commercial purposes, such as processing or selling, without the site's consent.
3. The operator may delete, move, or refuse to register content without prior notice if it is deemed to fall under any of the items in Article 12.
Article 15 Compensation for Damages
1. Members are primarily responsible for any civil or criminal liability arising from their actions on the site.
2. The site is not liable for damages caused by force majeure or member's intentional or negligent actions.
Article 16 Disclaimer
1. The operator is not responsible for any damages incurred by the member's failure to achieve the expected benefits from the service or for damages resulting from the member's choice or use of service data.
2. The operator is not responsible for damages caused by failures in the service infrastructure provided by the site or telecommunications services provided by other telecommunications operators.
3. The operator is not responsible for any data stored, posted, or transmitted by members.
4. The operator is not responsible for disruption in service use caused by the member's negligence.
5. The operator is not responsible for any activities between members, between members and third parties, or any activities inside or outside the service.
6. The operator is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or content of any materials posted or transmitted by members.
7. The operator is not responsible for any damages arising from transactions made between members or between members and third parties through the service.
8. The operator is not responsible for any disputes arising between members or between members and third parties without the operator's fault.
9. The operator is not responsible for any system failures, third-party attacks, or force majeure causes that result in member damages without the operator's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Supplementary Provisions
These terms shall take effect from <Site Opening Date>.
