The main contents of the agreement are: ▲The corporation creates a legal foundation for autonomous vehicle movement and operation, operates and cooperates as an auxiliary program of the corporation-hosted event for the demonstration and commercialization of urban tourism services, and ▲University develops corporate technology and content directly or indirectly, and operates employment-related education programs for students of related majors. Development and commercialization of services and contents utilizing major tourism factors.
This industrial-educational cooperation MOU is expected to be of great help in improving demonstration services for visitors to UCLG and Daejeon Science Festival events by discovering and developing self-driving car services that Daejeon citizens and tourists can enjoy.
President Ko Kyung-gon said, "This business agreement is meaningful in that we agreed to mutually cooperate in discovering, developing and commercializing autonomous vehicle services in Daejeon, a science city through industry-university cooperation. "We will do our best to improve the city tourism demonstration service for tourists visiting Daejeon," he said.
The second exhibition hall, science complex, science hall, KAIST, Chungnam National University, and Yuseong Onsen routes will be created, and demonstration services will be promoted to UCLG in 2022.
